After close to two years of work and discussion, the recommendations of the Groundwater Collaboration Workgroups organized by the state Department of Natural Resources were endorsed unanimously and unconditionally by the Kewaunee County Board on Thursday night. Continue reading
The Kewaunee County Board plans Thursday to consider an unconditional endorsement of the recommendations that received majority support from three work groups that studied groundwater contamination in the county.
The resolution is among several on the agenda when the board meets at 6 p.m. at the county Administrative Center, 810 Lincoln St., Kewaunee.
The board’s Soil & Water Conservation Committee voted 4-0 on Jan. 3 to send the consensus recommendations to the full County Board for approval. Continue reading
