The upcoming Door-Kewaunee Legislative Days event is among the headline features in the February edition of the Foghorn, the newsletter of the Kewaunee County University of Wisconsin-Extension office.
Every two years leaders and residents of the two counties converge on Madison to educate state officials about local issues and concerns. This is the eighth biennial trip.
Other highlights in the newsletter include information about an upcoming teleconference series about Local Land Use, Planning and Zoning; an agenda for the Midwest Manure Summit later this month at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center in Ashwaubenon (early bird registration deadline is Monday); and a report on the economics of robotic milking systems.
News items on Home and Community Education, Family Living, 4-H & Youth are also included in the eight-page newsletter.
